Today's a good day in all, because I've not touched any of my study materials and I've not completed any homework, but I did whatever could have been done for a Saturday to be a good day.
Waking up at 9,45am I decided to go for a jog, and I did at Pasir Ris Park. Jogged for quite a while and headed back. Then I brought Red out for a walk, and at the same time met up with KS to return him his NCC stuffthen he headed to White Sands and I headed to Pasir Ris Park again. Everything was good an tolerable (even Red's laziness to walk and persistence for me to carry him), until we got into a cat fight. 2 (very disturbingly aggressive) cats laid an ambush on my Red, and my Red being civilised and refined (and cowardly or stupid?) stood there not doing anything, leaving me to raise him up from the ground by his leash (like flag raising, only that I'm raising a dog), but this other cat jumped out from the bushes and scratched Red while I was hoisting him up, and because it kinda missed Red, it scratched me too in the midst of its attack. But poor Red bled a little D:
Anyways, things just got better after that and things took a turn for the better. I got a flower (:
So our beautiful class celebrated Aloy's 18th birthday, it was all pretty last minute but rather well-planned I guess. We surprised him at his church and the birthday boy admitted that he expected us to turn up at his house, so he made sure he looked good when he was walking in, HAHA, but it was all in vain (if you'll forgive the pun), then he expected us to surprise him during his bowling training which we never did. I'd say the church was a pretty smart choice, considering the tradition of the class (to turn up at the home, it'd have been too expected?). But this meant, we kept Aloy in disappointment the whole of today until like what, 9.30pm.
Anyway, his parents were so sweet, they bought us all pizza, chicken wings and wedges to fill our hungry stomachs (most of us rushed from buying Aloy's cakes, in the case of Just and Keong, Heidi and Sab had debates, and I came from church after attending 45 minutes of a 3 hour long mass). And all those who didn't have to rush, they all came fromthe other side of the world (Yio Chu Kang, Bukit Timah), and some even had to walk all the way from Bedok MRT station to the church itself (2 pretty long bus stops) until they finally see the light (like literally, shining from the cross). Tell me why I love T04 this much again.
After the church party, some of them left. And Mark, Just, Heidi and myself headed to Siglap's Coffee Club for a drink, and I indulged in the sinful mudpie, but I don't care. Eat first worry later - my motto in life after meeting SB. HAHA! Dad picked me up after his mass at about 12.30am and I reached home at about 1am.
So today will be the day where I will (finally) surrender the laptop to my computer. I want to.
